The wildlife and windmills of the Broads may be explored in day cruises from nearby Potter Heigham and Wroxham.

Other attractions within the region include the bird and seal colonies and Victorian resorts of the North Norfolk Coast, three steam railways and several stately homes. Museums, restaurants, shops and a castle can be found in Norwich only 13 miles away.
