Situated on the idyllic Oysterhaven Bay with private access to a pebble beach, these four charming cottages, two of which are featured here, have been sympathetically converted from former stables and lie in the courtyard of a restored Georgian House, built on the site of a former castle dating back to 1645. Adjoining similar holiday cottages, they each have a patio, overlooking a covered heated exercise pool, available from mid April to the end of October), and shared use of a large sloping lawn leading down to the ocean front with pebble beach. Riding, golf, fishing and sailing available. There are a number of restaurants nearby in Oysterhaven 1 mile, and Nohoval, 3 miles. Bustling Kinsale, 5 miles, has a 17th century fortress. It is one of the most picturesque and historic of Irish towns with its winding streets offering shopping opportunities, along with pubs and restaurants. Cork city, 16 miles away. Blarney Castle with the world renowned Blarney Stone, is within easy reach, and hundreds of tourists every year make the pilgrimage to visit it.
