Dating back to the 15th century, this former Drover’s House is set within the peaceful tranquillity of the Pentlands Regional Park, yet only a short train journey, or 30 minutes’ drive, from the hustle and bustle of historic Edinburgh. This delightful holiday cottage has been furnished, decorated and equipped to a high standard. Adjoining the owners’ home and in a totally rural setting, close by Harperrig Reservoir, it has its own front garden with sitting-out area and barbecue. There is excellent hill walking from the doorstep in the regional park. Fly fishing, tennis, riding and golf locally. Coast at East Lothian ¾ hour drive. Pub 5 miles.
