This delightful 13th-century house has views over the countryside to the Islands of Elba, Montecristo and Giglio.
The house, set on four floors, is in the centre of a 13th-century hilltop village. The rooms are small and intimate, with exposed chestnut beams and terracotta tiles. The house is very private and quiet and within easy reach of the coast. Because of the number of stairs, it is not recommended for small children or people with walking difficulties. The English speaking owners normally stay in an adjacent house. Visit the Massa Marittima, with its medieval Piazza, and the museum of Iron at Follonica.
