All of the rooms are spacious and simply furnished. In the living room there are some interesting mural frescoes and a balcony. Another balcony, overlooking the courtyard, leads off the kitchen.
Nearly everything you may want to see is within walking distance, and large centres of the city are pedestrian zones. ’Must-sees’ include the Duomo, the baptistry and the city’s two major museums - the Uffizi and the Bargello - and the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge. It is also worth the trip up to San Miniato to see the lovely medieval church and the wonderful view over the city. For a little relaxation, seek out the Boboli Gardens - a lovely park right in the city centre.
