This lovely old village house is high up in the heart of the medieval ’old town’ of Vaison, dominated by the castle. It has wonderful old stonework and a lovely private pool. There are neighbours, of course, but the environment is peaceful with no traffic. The interior is welcoming and cool, and surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable sitting room. This is a truly ancient house of great character and charm, great for summer living, and perfectly situated just a few minutes’ walk from the lively centre of Vaison, with its Roman ’dig’ and amphitheatre, many cafés and restaurants, and its weekly Provençal market. An ideal holiday base.
