Property Description

Built in 1620, this former drovers’ inn now forms a superb holiday cottage, attractively furnished and comfortable, with oak beams throughout and two wood-burning stoves to provide a cosy retreat in the winter months. Standing detached in an elevated position, it is set in a peaceful and pleasant location and enjoys spectacular, far-reaching views over rolling countryside to Snowdonia beyond. Nearby Llangollen is home to the Welsh Eisteddfodd and offers lively events all year round. A good selection of craft shops in the village sell the famous locally-made Welsh love spoons and rock. Horse-drawn boat rides can be enjoyed on the canal here as well as trips on the steam railway.
Beddgelert is an enchanting village with beautiful riverside walks amidst majestic mountain scenery, and for more walking opportunities in breathtaking landcapes, Llanberis is within easy driving distance. Nestling at the foot of Mount Snowdon, the town also offers a slate museum, Llanberis Lake Railway, the Mountain Railway and the fascinating and informative Electric Mountain.
