Property Description

Situated in the beautiful Towy valley, Ro Fawr Farm enjoys a peaceful and secluded setting in lovely grounds and with spectacular views over the river and surrounding countryside, as well as a wealth of wildlife. The three holiday cottages, converted from traditional farm buildings, have been sympathetically restored and furnished to a high standard, to provide extremely comfortable accommodation with the added benefit of a shared indoor swimming-pool, hard tennis court and 13 acres of shared grounds. This beautiful part of Wales is steeped in history, with three ancient castles nearby, and the delightful ancient little town of Llandeilo with its lovely shops and some good eating places, approximately 5 miles away. The market town of Carmarthen - said to be the birthplace of Merlin, the legendary wizard of King Arthur - is approximately 10 miles away and holds its markets on a Wednesday and Saturday, where Welsh cheeses and Welsh hams can be bought. Ro Fawr Farm is situated between the coastlines of Pembrokeshire and Gower - which have some lovely beaches - and also near Laugharne, where the poet Dylan Thomas lived. Fishing can be arranged on the various stretches of the river, and there is also bird-watching, walking and golf.
