Property Description
This charming, spacious holiday cottage, set within a ‘no through traffic’ fishing village owned mainly by the NT enjoys a superb location. Comfortable and cosy, it offers ideal accommodation all year round and is situated in the sheltered Embleton Bay only yards away from a magnificent sandy beach and overlooks the natural harbour of St Mary’s Haven. The area is renowned for its exceptional coastal walks on the doorstep extending north and south and grey seals can be heard on the rocks just off the coast. The coastline is a conservation area with excellent bird-watching (bird sanctuary and hide close by), sailing and windsurfing. The cottage is an ideal base for discovering the surrounding coastline and countryside. There are glorious views across Embleton Bay to Dunstanburgh Castle and many more castles can be found in the area. Pub 50 yards.
Living room with elec fire and patio door leading to beach. Farmhouse style dining/kitchen with feature tiled floor. Two double bedrooms with views of the beach (one can be made into twin beds). Twin-bedded room. Bathroom/W.C. with over-bath shower.
