Property Description
Set in the Snowdonia National Park, just 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed and its spectacular Swallow Falls, this attractive stone barn (right in photograph) has been sensitively converted to retain plenty of original character – with beams in its first floor living room. Enjoying its own patio, it stands opposite the owner’s farmhouse on a working farm, where a pet donkey always offers a friendly welcome and visitors are free to wander over the farmland. The National Park has many mountain trails and there is an excellent mountaineering centre at nearby Capel Curig. Bala Lake and the harbour towns of Porthmadog and Conwy are within easy reach.
Ground floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed. Bathroom/W.C. with over-bath shower. First floor: Living/dining-room with wood-burning stove, exposed beams. Kitchen area.
