Property Description

On the edge of the North York Moors National Park, this delightful 18th-century cottage overlooks its own mature gardens in a private and secluded setting, yet is only 200 yards from the heart of the charming market town of Pickering. Hungate Garden Cottage has been completely renovated and extended to provide very comfortable holiday accommodation for larger parties, with the added benefit of a ground floor twin-bedded room and bathroom with shower specially designed for a disabled person or couple. The cottage benefits from all modern amenities, yet retains all the charm and character of its 18th-century origins, with open beams and a log fire.
Hungate Garden Cottage is managed by the same team that looks after all the Hungate Cottages so immaculately . Visitors also enjoy free use of Pickering’s superb public indoor heated swimming-pool (200 yards) Pickering is a friendly town with good shops, inns and restaurants.
