Situated just outside Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Grove Farm offers very comfortable, well equipped accommodation for a perfect Peak District holiday. A great location for walking, cycling, riding and climbing and convenient for all the major Peak District attractions. Bakewell, 21/2 miles, offers a good range of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Other popular places such as Buxton, Matlock and Ashbourne are all within a comfortable 20-30 minute radius of the farm.
Haddon Grove has been sympathetically converted from former farm buildings in an idyllic position with great views over Lathkill Dale and the surrounding countryside. Set in 2 acres of landscaped grounds it offers fantastic on-site facilities including a leisure centre with indoor heated swimming pool, games room (with pool, table tennis and darts) and tourist information on a wide range of places to visit, things to do and restaurants/pubs. There is also a children’s play area, plenty of outdoor seating and BBQs available on request.
These cottages are part of a group of 11 each with their own character but equipped with everything needed to provide a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Dove Cottage is a cosy, one bedroomed cottage with feature spiral staircase. Peveil Cottage is a ground floor, one bedroomed cottage ideal for smaller families and those who find stairs difficult. Lathkill Cottage is a three bedroomed cottage and boasts a feature traditional cast iron range. Monsal Cottage is a two bedroomed cottage situated in the sunny courtyard, and Sycamore Cottage is a cosy 3 bedroomed cottage including a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. Ideal for families, groups and get-togethers as well as for couples. Dogs are welcome in a number of the cottages. Short breaks are available throughout the year.
