Property Description
Enjoying spectacular views over Whitesand Bay and Sennen Cove, with distant glimpses of the Isles of Scilly, this attractive granite cottage is only 250 yards from the beach. The holiday cottage is part of the same ownership and location as the Vellan Dreath properties (on previous page). It enjoys the same magical setting and is only accessible on foot down the sandy beach path from Sunny Corner Lane. Vellan Dreath Valley is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a haven for wildlife. This is superb walking country with glorious walks to Cape Cornwall and Land’s End. The local pub is only a short walk across the dunes. Whitesands Bay (Blue Flag status) is perfect for water sports and famous for surfing.
Tresillian was once the farmhouse to the valley and faces due south. It is surrounded by its own beautiful large terraced garden which nestles into the cliff face.
Beamed open-plan living room with multi-fuel stove in inglenook fireplace, rugs on slate floor, exposed granite walls and superb bay views. Farmhouse-style kitchen with dining area and stable door to courtyard. Twin-bedded room with single bed and built-in bunk bed. Cloakroom/W.C. First floor: Two double bedrooms, each with sea views; one with four-poster bed, large freestanding roll-top bath and en-suite shower room/W.C., one with ornate antique iron bed. Bunk-bedded room with sea views. Bathroom/W.C. with shower attachment. All bedrooms are attractively furnished and have rugs on natural wood floors.
