Property Description
Set in the sleepy hamlet of St. Ythaire, with its pretty church, this 150 year old stone built holiday cottage has a characterful interior, a lawned rose garden with barbecue to the rear plus use of the owner’s super swimming pool adjacent. The location is excellent for visiting the many flowery villages and medieval churches of Burgundy and tasting and buying from the wine châteaux. There are local country restaurants as well as tennis courts and riding stables within easy reach, plus golf at Chalon. The region is not crowded and cycling along the hilly country lanes is very pleasant whilst artists can paint from a view point near the village.
