Not far from the coast, nestled in the valley of Arz amid the wooded hills of Landes de Lanvaux, this charming cottage forms part of a beautiful old watermill. Perfectly restored, it offers cosy accommodation, alongside some bed and breakfast rooms. Outside is a dining terrace surrounded by a tiny flowery garden, a branch of the river and a large meadow. From here, the pretty village of Elven is a short drive, with restaurants, cafés and bars, as is the town of Questembert with a beautiful, half-timbered marketplace. The Gulf of Morbihan is just a 20 minute drive, where the pretty main islands offer absolute tranquillity with no traffic. There are many sandy beaches to explore, including Damgan, while the medieval city of Vannes is a great day out.
