The village of Lanvaudan has pretty thatched cottages, with shops and amenities in the larger village of Plouay. Enjoy leisurely riverside walks and picnics, or a spot of fishing, and explore the nearby coast with superb sandy beaches east of Lorient. Carnac with its lines of standing stones, and the Quiberon Peninsula are also well worth visiting.
