In a quiet spot, surrounded by pine trees, and within walking distance of the beautiful sandy beach at Biscarosse, this single-storey holiday villa makes an excellent base for a family seaside holiday. Built in traditional Basque style, it is simply, yet comfortably furnished, and enjoys its own garden with dining furniture and barbecue. Biscarosse has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, as well as a casino and seaplane museum to explore. The Dune du Pyla, Europe’s highest, is close by and well worth a climb for the breathtaking view of ocean and pine forests. Also nearby are the large lakes of Biscarosse and Sanguinet, heaven for windsurfing, water-skiing and paragliding. For a change from sunshine and beaches, there are quiet shady cycling tracks through the Forest of Les Landes.
