Property Description
An ideal place for a "city break" all year round, this typically French apartment is in the heart of Antibes and has been renovated and refurbished. Although there is private parking, a car is not necessary as you walk out onto cafés, bars, restaurants and shops. The place de Gaulle with its fountains and pavement cafés is a stones throw, and in the other direction, the boulevard leads down to the coast and garden where boules play is regular for the locals. The old town of Antibes is a stroll away and is a bustling pedestrianised area with cafés and restaurants and regularly has antiques and evening street fairs. There is a provençale food market every day, famous for local fruit, vegetables, spices, meats, cheeses and other delights. There are private and public sandy beaches on the way out to Cap d’Antibes (20 minute walk) and there are train and bus service trips to Cannes, Nice and Monaco. Great location also for visitors and participators to the many events held in Cannes.
