Or seated at the large table, families can use the wall-size map of Norfolk to plan days out and about in the surrounding area.
There are walks and signed trails to enjoy around the farm (with unfenced ponds). The spectacular unspoilt Norfolk coastline and traditional market towns of Swaffham, Ely and Kings Lynn, are within easy reach. Year-round there are activities and attractions for all ages including Gooderstone Water Gardens, Boadicea’s village, Iceni Brewery, Stowe Farm, Grimes Graves, Welney Nature Reserve, Thetford Forest Adventure Park and Norfolk Cycle Way. There is a good cycling network of quiet lanes from the doorstep, and plenty of space to kick a ball, play cricket or practise frisbee skills. Pubs and Oxburgh Hall (NT), 1 mile.
