Also easily accessible is the historic town of Kings Lynn with its pretty quayside and the Trinity Guildhall dating back to 1421.
There is excellent bird-watching all along the North Norfolk coastline, and many interesting little villages and towns to visit – Hunstanton is 12 miles distant and has one of the cleanest beaches in Norfolk with spectacular, striped cliffs in the background. The town also boasts Britain’s largest joke shop which should keep any child entertained for hours. Snettisham 7 miles and Norfolk Lavender 10 miles. Just 10 miles away is a beach at Heacham. Pub 1¼ miles.
