Each houseboat enjoys free use of a rowing boat, a compact and comfortable standard of holiday accommodation with equipped modern fitted kitchen. French doors, opening inwardly, create a small balcony, perfect for relaxing and feeding the ducks. During the open fishing season, guests are welcome to fish directly from the houseboat or along the 1¼ mile riverside walk within the site, a fishing licence is required. There is a grassed play area on site for children, and a neighbouring hotel with bistro restaurant and bar, within close walking distance. An array of attractions can be found within easy driving distance. Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches, 7 miles. Wroxham, heart of the Norfolk Broads, for good shopping, daily boat hire/river day trips, riverside bars, cafes and restaurants, 6 miles. Livelier seaside town of Great Yarmouth, 16 miles, for all the traditional seaside attractions such as fun fair, amusements, Pier with theatre and ’live’ entertainment shows as well as a sea life centre and indoor aqua fun park. The fine city of Norwich with excellent shopping, theatre, castle and museum 14 miles.
