With shared use of owner’s outdoor solar heated swimming pool, (which may be cold at times) length 15.2m, 0.9m to 2.4m deep which is open mid April to mid September, hard tennis court and small private lake for fishing, all within the grounds. Ideally situated for a wine tasting tour of the area, visit Carr Taylor Vineyards, a wine lovers paradise and taste the delicious ’Gold Medal’ winning bubbly which beat many well known French wines! Flavourful fruit wines also available. Sedlescombe Vineyard is England’s premier organic vineyard offering sparkling wines, fruit wines, fruit juice and farmhouse ciders whilst Tenterden Vineyard enables you to stroll through 15 acres of peaceful vineyards, guided tours available during the summer months. Also explore the lovely Wealden town of Tenterden, home to the Kent and Sussex steam railway, pullman dining for special occasions, and offering a wealth of antique shops, tearooms and public house to enjoy. For beaches with golden sands try Camber or visit the cosmopolitan resort of Hastings with its large fishing fleet, why not take home a dressed crab for supper? And explore its higgledy-piggledy old town complete with art galleries and interesting shops to provide you with a souvenir of your holiday. Don’t miss Battle Abbey, Yesterdays World - opposite the Abbey an award winning social history museum, Rye Castle Museum, Bodiam Castle and slightly further afield the Roman fortress now, Pevensey Castle.
